Located less than 20 minutes drive Downtown DC, this once shabby 1960’s landmark building on Eisenhower Avenue has been transformed into one of Alexandria’s premier high security office developments. For this project, we are proud to have designed, engineered and fabricated over 65,000 Square Feet of high level performance blast mitigation curtain wall along with the same in shop glazed punched windows. Punched windows were craned from our delivery trailers direct into the openings. Bolting of pre-installed slip anchors to imbeds in the pre-cast concrete panels simplified the installation process. This enabled our customer to close in of large areas of the building in double quick time. In order to meet the stringent budget requirements for this project,  we designed the glazing systems with options for future upgrades to resist to resist more extreme blast loads. Should some future tenant require even higher levels of security than currently offered, the pre-designed blast mitigation upgrades can be easily carried out during the course of the fit out.
