40 Bond Street

Lower Manhattan, NY

Developed by renowned New Yorker Ian Schrager, seldom does a condominium project push as many boundaries in facade design as 40 Bond Street. We are proud to have manufactured 360 European style high performance tilt and turn windows for this project.. some as big as 10’x12’ !! All windows are operated by crank handles. Crank clockwise and the window tilts, crank counterclockwise and the window turns. Vertical and horizontal spandrel areas between window are encased in bell-shaped glass units with stainless steel vision panels and interior lighting. Design co-ordination with the glass bell spandrels was extremely sensitive given the limitation in building tolerances that such a construction offers.
